{Abstract}

::NaDA as difficulty, from hope nada. Is a small publishing experiment trafficking in unsavory literary detritus. NaDA is a venue for the exploration of new ideas, technologies, thoughts, and ways of thinking. NaDA is a pathological fixation on the violating act; the belief that life is achieved through disobedience. It seeks a holistic means of appropriating the modern era into a synthesis of new mythologies and meaning, but it does not presume to be capable of achieving this end. We seek to find a strong foothold in the permanent instability of the modern landscape. There is nothing. We have not done.

Brewing storms in the basement

The end of the official day one of this (no)thing and the response has been absolutely astounding. There has been a huge amount of excitement and interest in this project, which means that there must be a real need for a (no)thing like this. NaDA have already received their first manuscript; a delightful little (100 page) .pdf on advertising. It remains to be determined weather or not it will be one of the first releases, but what I've read so far is very promising. Fear not those of you pursuing that coveted 1st slot, it is still anyone's race at this point, and ultimately, regardless of whatever else you may do, the winner will be arbitrarily selected by me. Additionally, keep in mind that this site has been put together in a day. Almost all of the links are either fake or flat out lies. At some point in the foreseeable future, NaDA will stop deceiving you; until that point however, you will just have to believe everything you are told.

The end is the beginning is

In order for a publishing house to fulfill it's most basic of functions, it must, by definition, publish. There is currently nothing definable on the horizon, but when that haze in the distance congeals into a recognizable form, I will be the first to know. Brothers and sisters, provide me ideas to predict the future with. Fortune tellers are autocrats, the future is open until it becomes the present.

There is nothing. We have not done.

This undertaking is now beginning. On a personal note, hopefully the only one, I owe this to my co-worker Allison for asking me in earnest what type of business I would like to have given an infinite spectrum of options. After considering the question for a long time, I told her that I would have a strange little publishing house that bled obscure and challenging fragments of books, codes, manuscripts, ideas, and experiments. It soon occurred to me that thanks to all these new fangled made to order publishing technologies they've got these days that this dream of mine wasn't only plausible, it was almost obligatory. So this is the start of the result two days later. The way I figure, if it can give me the extra oomph to get some of the projects I've had in my head going, and get some of the incredibly talented people I've met excited and motivated enough to actually do something about it, well that's about the best thing I could be doing with my time and energies right now in life. So welcome to NaDA. You'll find there's nothing here, and there never will be. Enjoy.

Until the Future,
